TaskMIS (“we”, “us”) is task management & MIS software for teams, made and operated in India. This policy explains what we collect when you use taskmis.com and app.taskmis.com, and what we do with it.
Account details. Your name and email address, given when you create an account or accept a team invitation.
Google sign-in (optional). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google — nothing else. We use them only to create and sign you into your TaskMIS account. TaskMIS’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Workspace content. The tasks, updates, due dates, comments and settings your team enters. This content belongs to your team — we host and process it only to provide the service.
Technical basics. Standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting. Our marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand visits; the app itself contains no advertising trackers.
To run TaskMIS for your team: signing you in, showing the right tasks to the right people, sending the emails the product is built on (team invitations, your morning digest, renewal reminders), and answering support requests. That’s it. We do not sell personal data, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Your data is hosted in India (Mumbai region), encrypted in transit and at rest, with bank-grade isolation between customer workspaces. Access inside TaskMIS follows your team’s own roles — admins, HODs and members each see only what their role allows.
Only the service providers required to run TaskMIS — cloud database hosting, application hosting and email delivery — each bound by their own safeguards. Beyond that, we disclose data only if the law requires it. No third party buys, borrows or mines your data.
While your workspace is active. TaskMIS deliberately deactivates people rather than deleting them, so your team’s task history stays complete. If you want your workspace exported or permanently deleted, email support@taskmis.com and we’ll do it.
You can view and correct your details inside the app, export your team’s data from the Reports screen anytime, and request account or workspace deletion by writing to us. TaskMIS is a workplace tool and is not directed at children under 18.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date.
